All America Celebration
Bach Partita accompaniment by Charles Yang was exquisite. The dance itself, while very beautiful was too long. Some Assembly Required was whimsical and delightful. The dancers were quite beautiful. And, again, the accompaniment by Charles Yang and David LaMarche was brilliant. The Sinatra Suite was an unexpected delight. It was delightful to see the dancers segue from jazz to traditional and back. A really wonderful interpretation of Sinatra songs. And Fancy Free, with full orchestra, was another wonderful piece, whimsical, humorous and delightful. We always enjoy seeing performances by the ABT, and always find them challenging and wonderful.
